CERAMICSPEED Race Day Grease is a great choice for short time trials or the race track as it is extremely low friction thanks to the DVT (Dynamic Viscosity Transformation) technology used in its formula. When Race Day Grease’s lubricating film is subjected to the high pressure at the ball/race contact point, it immediately changes state to a lower kinematic viscosity, similar to that of a low-viscosity oil. DVT technology offers the rider the best of both worlds – the low friction properties of an oil combined with the longevity of a grease. This grease is ideal for ceramic bearings and is also suitable for steel bearings.
When lubricating bearings, the recommended fill rate is 25-30% on the road and 15-20% on the track.
